The Unforeseen Path

Life spins a tale we never write,
A story penned in shades unknown.
We build our walls, we shape our sight,
Yet fate rewrites the seeds we’ve sown.
With dawn we map our careful schemes,
Blueprints bright and lines so neat,
But life unravels quiet dreams,
A dance of loss, of sweet defeat.
One day the sun may fill the skies,
Another, storms may cloud the view.
We chase what gleams, but fail to prize
The hidden joys, the blessings too.
A plan once firm slips through our hand,
Like shifting sands upon the shore.
We think we steer, yet never land
Quite where we hoped to stand before.
For in this life, so wild and free,
The paths unfold by fate's design.
What seems a step to victory
May lead instead to lands divine.
So let us tread with courage strong,
Accept the gifts the unknown lends.
Life’s twisty roads, though harsh and long,
Bring wisdom’s light where each path bends.
In moments planned and unplanned days,
We learn to dance, to rise, to fall.
For life, in its mysterious ways,
Unpredictably gives us all.
