My First Class
Sitting near the window's glass,
With interest in my very first class.
Room number three, a sense of joy,
Our first day, no more a schoolboy.
It starts with a lesson on Mechanics,
Teacher shares tips, no fancy tricks.
Fifty-five students in our class,
At break, we chat and have a blast.
After four classes in a row, it's lunchtime,
With a glass of buttermilk, we dine.
Our spirits rise after we eat,
Back to class, with eager hearts to meet.
Last on the list, a computer class it be,
Slow-paced, as the day wearily flees.
Though boredom makes me feel quite dozy,
Rest assured, I'm motivated, not lazy.
